Plinth is based on a number of uncredited reproductions of sculptures made in the 1960s and 70s. Revisiting the sculptures in their present situation I remade five reproductions that I chose for the additional details in the images: fake backgrounds, covered shadows and pedestals painted by the anonymous photographer, details that back then were meant to stay unnoticed.
